Our Story

It started with a cute little purple goblin.

Lori was designing seamless patterns in Procreate for fabric prints... the kind of creative rabbit hole she tends to fall into...  when one day she drew herself a Magic: The Gathering token. Just for fun. Just because nothing out there looked the way she wanted it to look.

People loved it. So, she drew another. And another. And somehow, before either of them fully realized what was happening, Purple Fox Shop was born. The 3D printers showed up eventually. As they do.

Lori and Michael are both teachers, both Magic players, both designers, and both delightfully, unapologetically ADHD. Lori works as a private tutor specializing in neurodivergent learners, brings her artist's eye to every token and pattern, and sculpts our Miniature Deck Buddies™ in Nomad. Michael is a middle school band director who designs and engineers most of our original 3D products in Fusion 360 and makes sure the chaotic creative energy of this operation somehow results in actual finished things.

Together, they run a workshop that, on any given day, looks a lot like a squirrely goblin has taken over... full of half-finished ideas, happily humming printers, a splattering of paint jars, random dice, and at least one project that has nothing to do with anything but felt important in the moment. It's a little wild. It's very them.

Purple Fox Shop exists because two neurodivergent educators looked at the hobbies and tools they loved and thought: we can make this better, more inclusive, and a lot more fun. Whether you're a femme Magic player who never found her seat at the table, a teacher searching for tools that actually work for real learners, a crafter ready to make something new, or someone who just needs more whimsy in their life, you belong here.

We made this for you... probably while three other things were printing.
