Become a Forge Host

Help forge safe, welcoming Magic spaces in your community.

FemmeForge Collective is growing — and we’re looking for Forge Hosts across the United States who want to help build femme-centered, inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming Magic: The Gathering spaces.

Forge Hosts are the heart of FemmeForge Collective. You don’t need to be the loudest person in the room, the most competitive player, or a community celebrity. You just need to care about safety, clarity, and helping others feel like they belong.

💜 What Is a Forge Host?

A Forge Host is a local community organizer who helps create and maintain FemmeForge Collective spaces in their city.

Forge Hosts:

  • host femme-centered Magic play events

  • uphold the FemmeForge Code of Conduct

  • create calm, predictable, low-pressure environments

  • support new, returning, and neurodivergent players

  • help foster creativity, connection, and confidence

You are not expected to do everything alone — FemmeForge Collective provides structure, guidance, and resources to support you.

🌈 Who This Role Is For

You might be a great Forge Host if you:

  • care deeply about inclusive, respectful play

  • value consent-based interaction and clear expectations

  • want Magic spaces to feel safer and calmer

  • enjoy supporting others, even quietly

  • are comfortable setting and enforcing boundaries

  • believe creativity belongs in gaming spaces

  • want to build community without gatekeeping

You do not need:

  • prior event-organizing experience

  • a large following

  • competitive credentials

  • to be extroverted

  • to have all the answers

🛡 What Forge Hosts Do

Forge Hosts agree to:

  • host or co-host at least one FemmeForge event every 4–6 weeks

  • follow the FemmeForge Code of Conduct and safety standards

  • use clear table signage and consent-based play practices

  • create neurodivergent-affirming environments

  • communicate with FemmeForge Collective leadership as needed

  • collect basic event information (attendance, photos if consented)

Forge Hosts are supported with:

  • an Event-in-a-Box guide

  • table sign templates

  • safety and hosting resources

  • onboarding and guidance

  • community support from other hosts

🧠 Our Hosting Philosophy

Forge Hosts are not expected to perform, lead meetings, or put people on the spot.

FemmeForge events are intentionally designed to avoid:

  • forced introductions

  • welcome or closing circles

  • spotlight activities

  • social pressure

  • competitive posturing

Your role is to hold the space, not control it.

🌍 Why Become a Forge Host?

By becoming a Forge Host, you help:

  • create safer Magic spaces for femmes and marginalized players

  • reduce anxiety and barriers to participation

  • normalize consent and clarity at the table

  • uplift creativity alongside gameplay

  • build sustainable local community

You also become part of a growing national network of hosts working toward a shared goal:
forging 26 strong FemmeForge communities across the U.S. in 2026.

🦊 Support & Sponsorship
